Dover Pointe has evolved tremendously since last fall (Oct. 2019) when I moved onto the property. The property manager has made great strides in keeping the property maintained and updating services. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the facility took every precaution to keep staff and residents safe. In addition, the laundry room has been updated where residents can load an app to their mobile phone and load monies for washing and drying. The app also let's you know when your machine has finished washing and drying. There have been small but significant updates to the property, i.e., new resident mail boxes (the previous mailboxes where horrible, damaged broken), updating the pool, parking lot concrete/patch work, new privacy fencing around the entire property, the laundry room, change to a better pest control company (no more roaches), keeping a vigilant eye on property and resident issues, etc. I was not a happy resident when I moved in under the previous property manager. When I first moved in it appeared the previous property manager did not do a final walk through of the unit. Initially, there were no handles on any cabinets (bathroom/kitchen), my 2nd bathroom toilet kept clogging (reduced to sharing a bathroom), the kitchen wall had not been wiped down or repainted, the freezer/frigerator had not been cleaned (racks had brown residue), there were roaches, the overall management of the property left a lot to be desired. The new property manager stepped up!! I received a new toilet, a new refrigerator, new kitchen oven hood, handles applied to all bathroom/ kitchen cabinets, dishwasher replacement, sink and tub stoppers!! The new property manager has really stepped up to make Dover Pointe a nice property!!!! _ Mitchell
